In line with its strategy to reinforce services in non-statutory markets, TÜV Rheinland has acquired Burotec, an international company based in Madrid, specializing in quality control, product inspection, technical auditing, industrial safety services, engineering, and project management across the globe. The acquisition was completed on September 27, 2023, positioning TÜV Rheinland Holding S.L. as the sole shareholder and acquirer.
Burotec delivers comprehensive technical services throughout the entire industrial process, from initial project planning to commissioning and green energy initiatives, aligning with TÜV Rheinland's growth strategy, particularly in the energy and environmental sectors. This acquisition significantly broadens and strengthens TÜV Rheinland's service portfolio in Spain while opening doors to new growth opportunities in the non-statutory local inspection market.
Established in 1991, Burotec has a customer-centric philosophy and collaborates with major multinational companies spanning various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Medical Devices, Automotive, Telecommunications, and Green Energy.
