Robotic NDT solutions provider TSC Subsea is deepening its presence in Australasia through a strategic collaboration with Pulse Technology Hub and its Services division, aiming to drive greater engagement with offshore operators and tailor its technology offerings to local industry requirements.
As global demand for subsea integrity grows, TSC Subsea is focusing efforts on the Australasian offshore sector, bringing advanced robotic platforms that enable remotely operated vehicle (ROV)-based inspections. The company’s portfolio includes Acoustic Resonance Technology (ART), Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM), and Subsea Phased Array (SPA)—non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions designed for pipelines, risers, FPSOs, and deepwater structures.
“Australia’s offshore environment presents both unique challenges and exciting opportunities. To make a meaningful impact, we need more than just advanced technology. We need local insight, access to the right conversations, and trusted relationships. Partnering with Pulse Technology Hub gives us exactly that. We’re looking forward to accelerating our engagement with the region’s operators and contributing real value,” said Stuart Kenny, General Manager, TSC Subsea.
The partnership is aimed at sharpening TSC Subsea’s understanding of the evolving operational and regulatory landscape, helping it adapt its offerings to meet regional asset integrity demands.
“TSC Subsea already brings some of the best inspection technology in the world. Through our partnership, they’ll gain a sharper lens into the evolving needs and priorities of Australian operators and service providers. Through both our Services division and the Hub, we’ll help ensure their solutions are front of mind as the sector continues to adapt and innovate,” said Ian Grant, Director, Pulse Technology Hub.
The move follows TSC Subsea’s recent success in Brazil, where the company secured a multi-year contract to deliver SPA inspections on circumferential welds for rigid subsea pipelines—covering both flowline and riser segments at depths reaching 3,000 meters.
By strengthening its base in Australasia, TSC Subsea is poised to support offshore asset owners in the region with high-resolution, reliable NDT solutions that reduce risk, minimize downtime, and enhance long-term infrastructure resilience.
