Tellurian and Baker Hughes Forge Deal for Driftwood LNG Phase 1 Liquefaction Equipment Supply

Tellurian Inc. (NYSE American: TELL) and Baker Hughes (NASDAQ: BKR) have sealed a partnership set to drive the timely development of Phase 1 of the Driftwood LNG project. In this agreement, Baker Hughes will supply eight critical main refrigerant compression packages, a key component for achieving initial liquefied natural gas (LNG) production in 2027.

This strategic collaboration represents a significant step forward for Driftwood LNG's ambitious timeline. The partnership not only secures the timely delivery of eight LM6000PF+ gas turbines but also ensures the availability of main refrigerant compressors and control units, all integral to the project's success.

Tellurian President and CEO, Octávio Simões, expressed his appreciation for the partnership, highlighting the importance of securing cutting-edge technology for Driftwood Phase 1. He noted that the agreement with Baker Hughes enhances its capability to deliver clean energy on a global scale, acknowledging Baker Hughes for its expertise in manufacturing and technology solutions.

Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes, emphasized the collaboration's continuity, as it builds upon their established relationship. He stated that Baker Hughes' extensive experience in LNG, coupled with a diverse portfolio of natural gas value chain technologies, positions them perfectly to support Tellurian's efforts in the Driftwood liquefaction plant.
