Rototech has announced that its Roto Climber MK1 and MK2 systems have received official approval from PETRONAS Technology, marking a key milestone for the company’s remote-access inspection and maintenance technologies.

Following rigorous evaluation, both systems have been listed in the PETRONAS Technology Catalogue via the iG@P platform, making them authorised for deployment across PETRONAS operations. The inclusion reflects PETRONAS’s recognition of the safety, reliability, and innovation built into Rototech’s climbing robotic solutions.

The Roto Climber MK1 and MK2 are designed to support a wide range of industrial inspection and maintenance tasks by offering remote, efficient, and low-risk access to complex structures. Their approval underscores the growing industry shift towards intelligent automation and robotics in operational environments.

Rototech stated that it looks forward to supporting PETRONAS in its commitment to operational excellence, asset integrity, and workplace safety, through technology that minimises human exposure while maximising data precision and efficiency.
