Oceaneering International has secured a five-year inspection and asset integrity services contract from a Qatar-based oil company, reinforcing its long-standing presence in one of the Middle East's largest oil and gas markets. The contract was awarded to the company's Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS) segment following a competitive tender process.
The agreement includes two optional one-year extensions and is expected to generate meaningful revenue during the initial five-year contract term.
Under the contract, Oceaneering will deliver non-destructive testing (NDT), inspection, and asset integrity services using its Qatar-based workforce. The company will also deploy its proprietary Inform™ digital inspection software, with the potential to integrate its Vision™ data visualization platform as part of the project scope.
Oceaneering has been operating in Qatar for more than two decades, providing inspection, integrity management, and digital solutions to support the country's energy infrastructure.
"This award underscores our ability to deliver reliable, digitally enabled integrity solutions that enhance production reliability and asset uptime while supporting regulatory compliance," said Leo Granato, senior vice president of IMDS. "Our established team in Qatar enables safe and consistent execution of our innovative solutions, while deepening the development of local talent."
The contract further strengthens Oceaneering's portfolio of long-term integrity management projects as oil and gas operators continue to adopt digital technologies to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across offshore and onshore facilities. By combining NDT services with digital inspection and visualization platforms, the company aims to support more efficient asset integrity management throughout the contract period.
