This acquisition strengthens Oceaneering’s digital offerings, particularly in asset management, by incorporating GDi’s expertise in remote visual inspection and data solutions. GDi, the only UKAS-certified provider for remote visual inspections using point cloud data, brings advanced algorithms and its Vision software, complementing Oceaneering’s portfolio and enhancing safety, data quality, and cost efficiency for global clients in sectors like oil and gas, utilities, and power generation.
