Neuranics has announced the launch of its Magnetic Measurement Development Kit, providing researchers, product developers, and engineering teams with a platform to evaluate ultra-low magnetic field sensing capabilities in real-world environments.

The new development kit is built around the company’s Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor technology and is designed to detect, visualise, and record picoTesla-level magnetic signals in real time. The system targets a broad range of applications, including industrial monitoring, non-destructive testing (NDT), wearable technologies, human-machine interfaces, extended reality (XR), digital health, and other advanced sensing applications.

The ready-to-use platform integrates Neuranics’ TMR sensors with a front-end ASIC for signal amplification, data acquisition capabilities, connectivity options, and desktop software within a compact system. Users can connect via USB or Bluetooth, monitor live magnetic field data through the Neuranics desktop application, and record measurements at a sampling rate of 1 kHz for further analysis.

For teams evaluating next-generation sensing technologies, the development kit is intended to simplify the process of assessing low-field magnetic measurement performance while enabling faster exploration of potential product and research applications.

The launch is particularly relevant to industries exploring advanced sensing approaches for inspection, monitoring, and measurement tasks, where detecting extremely weak magnetic signals can provide additional insight into material conditions, system behaviour, and operational performance.

Commenting on the launch, Noel McKenna, CEO of Neuranics, said:

“Teams working on advanced sensing are increasingly reaching the limits of conventional approaches, from sensitivity and signal quality to system integration. Evaluating new sensing modalities can be complex and time-consuming, especially when organisations must first build custom setups to test what is possible. This development kit removes that barrier, giving teams a faster, more practical way to assess whether adaptable picoTesla-level magnetic sensing can fit into their development roadmap.”

According to Neuranics, the development kit also provides users with access to the company’s engineering expertise, supporting organisations as they explore how ultra-sensitive magnetic sensing can be integrated into future products and technology platforms.

With the introduction of the Magnetic Measurement Development Kit, Neuranics aims to provide a practical pathway for evaluating picoTesla-level magnetic sensing technologies across research, industrial, inspection, and emerging technology applications.
