The Canadian Institute for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CINDE) is set to host the much-anticipated NDT in Canada 2024 Conference. Scheduled for June 11–13, 2024, the event will take place at the prestigious Brookstreet Hotel in Ottawa. This year’s theme, "Making Every Connection Count," underscores the event’s focus on the future of non-destructive testing (NDT) and evaluation (NDE). The conference promises to be a hub for NDT professionals from around the globe, offering numerous opportunities to discuss the direction of NDT, the path to achieving new milestones, and the tools and techniques that will drive the future of inspection.
Mr. John Chen from ASN, Mr. Larry Etherington from NRCan, and Mr. Rob Skwirut from NRCan participated in a certification panel discussion on current topics. The NDT In Canada Conference will discuss topics like training, radiation, risk, digital detector arrays, pipe elbow defects, Boron carbide-reinforced plates, guided wave propagation, visual UAV inspections, and AI-assisted analysis in heat exchangers. It will also discuss the Universal File Format for NDT 4.0.
