Laser Photonics (NASDAQ: LASE), a leading industrial laser manufacturer, today announced a new order for its CleanTech industrial roughening laser system from NDE Incorporated, a regional provider of nondestructive testing (NDT) and heat treatment services. The new system is intended to enhance advanced surface preparation capabilities across critical sectors including power, pipeline, oil and gas, and aerospace.

The CleanTech system provides a chemical-free method for surface preparation, efficiently vaporizing rust and coatings while preserving the integrity of the base materials. This technology is particularly valuable for NDT applications as it enables a superior exposure of cracks and other defects compared to traditional, often more abrasive, methods.

The order from NDE Incorporated underscores the growing adoption of laser-based solutions in the inspection industry. Laser Photonics highlighted that another major provider, Acuren, which operates over 110 locations across North America, has already integrated CleanTech systems into its operations. Acuren has reportedly praised the technology for its speed and non-disruptive nature, solidifying its reputation as a valuable tool for modern inspection needs.

This new partnership will enable NDE Incorporated to deliver more efficient and precise surface preparation services, directly supporting the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, non-destructive testing for its clients. The integration of the CleanTech system is expected to streamline inspection workflows and improve the reliability of defect detection in high-stakes industrial environments.
