Inductosense, a leading provider of innovative wireless nondestructive testing solutions, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Summit Inspection Services (Summit), a Canadian service provider specializing in corrosion management, above-ground storage tank inspection, and piping inspection programs. This partnership aims to enhance asset management and extend the operational lifespan of industrial equipment, delivering significant time and cost savings.
Under this partnership, Summit will represent Inductosense as both a product reseller and installer of Inductosense’s WAND (wireless and nondestructive) products in Canada. The WAND system offers a straightforward method for obtaining repeatable and accurate thickness measurements, providing flexible data collection options through the WAND Handheld Data Collector (WAND-HDC), the WAND Remote Data Collector (WAND-RDC), and WAND-Online. These options ensure that thickness measurements can be safely obtained either onsite or remotely, without the need for trained personnel, facilitating a transition from traditional UT inspection to fully digitalized corrosion monitoring. This shift promises to reduce emissions and costs for customers.
"We are very pleased to formalize our partnership with Summit Inspection Services," said Kim Ironside, Head of Partnerships at Inductosense. "Summit has an in-depth understanding of the inspection challenges faced by our customers and the use cases for our WAND technology. We look forward to working with the Summit team to emphasize the benefits of our collaboration."
The first installation under this partnership is scheduled with one of Canada’s largest energy providers, set to take place at an Alberta oil sands operation in the coming weeks. Inductosense is enthusiastic about the potential of this strategic partnership to expand its client base and enhance its service offerings.
