ESAB Corporation has completed its acquisition of Eddyfi Technologies, a global provider of advanced inspection and monitoring technologies, marking a significant development in the inspection, asset integrity, and industrial monitoring sector.
The acquisition expands ESAB’s capabilities beyond its established fabrication and welding portfolio, adding Eddyfi’s inspection instrumentation and monitoring technologies to create a broader end-to-end workflow offering for industrial customers.
According to ESAB, the addition of Eddyfi’s technology portfolio strengthens its position in inspection and monitoring applications while supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

For the non-destructive testing and inspection industry, the acquisition brings together ESAB’s global industrial footprint with Eddyfi’s portfolio of advanced inspection and monitoring solutions used for asset integrity assessment and condition monitoring across critical industries.
Jeff Anderson, President of Eddyfi Technologies, emphasized the opportunities created by the transaction.

ESAB noted that its second-quarter financial results will include one month of Eddyfi’s performance, which was not reflected in the company’s previously issued outlook. Updated full-year guidance, including the impact of the acquisition, is expected to be provided during the company’s second-quarter earnings call.
