EnerMech, an Aberdeen-headquartered integrated solutions specialist, has secured a five-year extension to its non-destructive testing (NDT) contract with Chevron Australia, extending the company's work through the end of 2031.
The contract, initially secured in 2017, covers inspection and asset integrity services across Chevron Australia's operations. The extended agreement will continue EnerMech's involvement in supporting the safety, reliability and integrity of Chevron's assets.
Contract Covers NDT and Asset Integrity Services
The scope of the contract includes advanced non-destructive testing, condition monitoring, corrosion and inspection services, statutory inspections, engineering support and specialist asset integrity solutions.
The continued contract provides EnerMech with an extended role in supporting Chevron Australia's inspection and asset integrity requirements through its established local operations and technical capabilities.
Local Expertise Supports Long-Term Chevron Relationship
Heath Ward, Regional Vice President for Australia at EnerMech, said the company's focus remains on providing customers with confidence that their assets are supported safely and efficiently with appropriate technical expertise.
Ward highlighted the continuity provided by EnerMech's local workforce, established systems and understanding of Chevron Australia's operating environment. These capabilities allow the company to respond quickly while maintaining a disciplined approach to service delivery.
He also said EnerMech was pleased to continue its relationship with Chevron Australia and remains focused on delivering the reliability and service quality expected by its customers.
EnerMech Has Supported Chevron's LNG Operations
EnerMech has previously supported Chevron in the region through work associated with the Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG developments.
Its previous activities have included commissioning, maintenance, shutdowns and ongoing operational support services, adding to the company's established relationship with Chevron Australia.
The five-year extension will allow EnerMech to continue providing NDT and asset integrity services to Chevron Australia through 2031.
