Echo Ultrasonics, a manufacturer of NDT ultrasonic couplants and cables, has announced the appointment of Peter Roy as Vice President of Sales. Roy brings more than three decades of commercial leadership and business development experience within the non-destructive testing industry.
Over a career spanning more than 36 years in NDT, including 13 years at Acuren, Roy has developed an international network across inspection service providers, OEMs, and end users operating in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, aerospace, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Echo Ultrasonics, Roy served as Director of Business Development at the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), where he led growth initiatives, strengthened industry partnerships, and contributed to expanding ASNT’s presence within the global NDT community.
In his new role at Echo Ultrasonics, Roy will oversee the company’s global sales strategy, with a focus on expanding international distribution channels, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the company’s continued growth in ultrasonic couplants and related NDT products.
Echo Ultrasonics stated that Roy’s industry experience and understanding of inspection technologies align closely with the company’s long-term growth objectives and technical focus within the ultrasonic testing market.
