Dantec Dynamics has announced the release of DynamicStudio 8.3, a significant update featuring two major enhancements aimed at improving the software’s functionality and user experience.
The first major update focuses on data assimilation and Particle Tracking Velocimetry (PTV). DynamicStudio 8.3 introduces Physics Informed Interpolation, a proven data assimilation method that interpolates tomographic PTV data onto a regular grid. This new approach allows for solving pressures, enhancing spatial resolution, filtering outliers, and significantly speeding up computation times.
The second major update involves a comprehensive overhaul of the calibration module. The new calibration tools include online analysis capabilities that assist in focusing on targets and a new online marker detection tool to ensure images are suitable for calibrations as they are being acquired. Additionally, the module features new acquisition options that simplify the calibration procedure and an improved camera calibration tool. This tool offers increased robustness in point detection, higher accuracy, and better methods for filtering and manipulating false or undetected markers.
DynamicStudio 8.3 is now available for download. Customers under the Software Update Agreement can download the latest version and explore its powerful new features.
