Duncan Aviation has expanded its mobile non-destructive testing (NDT) services, providing aircraft operators across the United States with direct access to certified inspection expertise. The initiative enables customers to perform onsite structural and component testing without the need to relocate their aircraft to a maintenance base.

The company’s mobile NDT teams, stationed in Lincoln (Nebraska), Battle Creek (Michigan), and Provo (Utah), are equipped to conduct a wide range of advanced inspection techniques including eddy current, fluorescent penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and optical prism testing. All field specialists are full-time NDT Level 2 or Level 3 technicians, qualified under NAS410 certification standards to ensure consistency and compliance.

Duncan Aviation also holds NDT-specific authorizations from several major OEMs, including Dassault, Textron, Honeywell, Rolls-Royce, and Pratt & Whitney Canada. These endorsements affirm the company’s ability to meet rigorous manufacturer-specific testing protocols and maintain accuracy across varying inspection environments.

Through this expansion, Duncan Aviation brings the same level of precision and reliability found at its primary facilities directly to customer locations. The company describes its mobile service as an extension of its in-house NDT network, designed to deliver timely, certified inspections wherever aircraft are based.

The strengthened mobile NDT offering reflects Duncan Aviation’s commitment to advancing nondestructive inspection accessibility and efficiency in aviation maintenance—combining field-ready responsiveness with the technical rigor of full-service MRO operations.
