At the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) Annual Dinner 2025, Bill (BJ) Brown was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising his profound contributions to the non-destructive testing (NDT) community over several decades.
Widely respected as a cornerstone of the industry, Brown has been admired for his unwavering dedication, leadership in advancing technical standards, and commitment to training and mentorship. His influence has extended across both local and national levels, shaping the future of NDT through innovation and guidance.
Mike Dixon, reflected on the significance of the honour: “It was a privilege to witness BJ (Bill) Brown receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2025 at last night’s BINDT Annual Dinner.
