Ashtead Technology, a leading provider of mission-critical subsea technology solutions, has appointed Alan McLean as Head of Mechanical Solutions. In this role, Alan will take global responsibility for the company’s Mechanical Solutions service line, overseeing the growth and delivery of key technology solutions including subsea cutting and recovery, lifting, pulling and deployment, and offshore support equipment.
Working alongside Ashtead Technology’s team of subject matter experts, Alan’s responsibilities will include ensuring excellence in both technical and commercial delivery while accelerating the international growth of the group’s Mechanical Solutions offerings.
With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, having led organizations through successful global growth strategies. He previously spent 14 years at Enermech, where he served as International Commercial Director.
