The 3rd Africa Asset Integrity Management Conference and Showcase (AIMCS AFRICA 2026) and the 2nd Instrumentation, Cybersecurity and Automation Conference and Showcase (ICA AFRICA 2026) marked another significant milestone for Africa’s industrial landscape. The dual-conference event set new benchmarks in asset integrity management, process safety, automation, cybersecurity, instrumentation, and digital transformation across the region.

Hosted in the city of Cairo from 10-12 Feb at the prestigious Triumph Luxury Hotel, New Cairo, the event brought together a high-caliber lineup of speakers and industry professionals from across Africa and international markets. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Houssam Sabry, Managing Director of International Consultant Engineers (ICE); Mr. Ahmed Farouk, General Manager of the Pipeline Integrity Management Centre of Excellence (PIMCOE), GASCO; and other key experts and decision makers from the Oil and Gas and Energy Industry in Africa and International, setting the tone for an impactful and collaborative gathering.

The conferences were led by a distinguished group of leaders and keynote addresses from Dr. Manar Helal, Cybersecurity Projects Manager at the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources - Egypt, and Mr. Martin Robinson, Group CEO of IRISS Inc., added strategic insight to the technical discussions, emphasizing the importance of innovation, collaboration, and technology-driven transformation.

Attendees engaged in a rich program featuring insightful technical presentations, keynote sessions, interactive workshops, and expert-led panel discussions that addressed the region’s most pressing operational challenges and emerging opportunities. The sessions highlighted the importance of strengthening asset reliability, adopting advanced cybersecurity strategies, enhancing automation systems, and accelerating digital transformation to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

The exhibition component of the event showcased next-generation technologies and integrated solutions, creating a dynamic space for live demonstrations, immersive learning, and strategic networking. Delegates experienced firsthand the tools and innovations redefining asset integrity management, industrial automation, and cybersecurity resilience across Africa’s energy and industrial sectors.
