ACE Solution, in collaboration with Taiwan Nano & Micro-Photonics, showcased a suite of advanced semiconductor and silicon photonics solutions at SEMICON 2025, one of the world’s most influential semiconductor exhibitions. The company’s demonstrations spanned silicon photonics sensing, optical communication, compound semiconductor testing, and cutting-edge non-destructive testing (NDT) systems for wafers and packaging.
Among the highlights was the TZ-6000 Non-Destructive Material and Wafer Inspection system, which leverages terahertz (THz) technology to deliver deeper penetration and high-resolution evaluation of semiconductor wafers, including silicon, GaN, and SiC. The TZ-6000 supports wafers of multiple sizes and geometries, providing comprehensive insights into thickness, refractive index, resistivity, dielectric constant, localized defects, and full-wafer scanning. This capability enables semiconductor manufacturers to strengthen quality control while reducing process risks.
The company also introduced a 3DIC advanced packaging non-destructive inspection solution. The Electro-Optical Terahertz Pulse Reflectometer (EOTPR), capable of 5-micron precision positioning, was a standout at the exhibition. As the first instrument to apply isolation technology to integrated circuit packaging fault analysis, the EOTPR enables non-destructive fault detection and quality monitoring in advanced packaging.
Beyond inspection, ACE Solution also drew attention with Teradyne’s Compound Semiconductor Test system, which supports testing at up to 6000V and 4000A. The platform is positioned to address the growing demand for testing GaN and SiC power modules, EV systems, and mixed-signal devices.
With its focus on “from materials to wafers to packaging,” ACE Solution underscored its expertise in system integration and test technologies that support high-performance computing, electric vehicles, and AI applications.
