Position Summary:-

Services MISTRAS Inc. is seeking dedicated Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technicians to join its growing laboratory team in Saint-Lambert. The position is suited to experienced Level II or Level III professionals as well as motivated NDT specialists seeking to advance their careers.

The role focuses on supporting advanced industries, including aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. High-potential candidates with at least 12 months of NDT experience who are not yet certified may receive support for training and certification, including participation in an intensive six-month training program in the United States.

Responsibilities:-

  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections on various components and materials according to specified procedures and standards.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate advanced UT equipment.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed technical inspection reports.
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of Level I technicians and trainees.
  • Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support technical activities within the Saint-Lambert laboratory environment.

Qualifications:-

  • Current or previously held Level II or Level III UT certification.
  • High-potential candidates with at least 12 months of NDT experience may be considered for training leading to certification.
  • High school diploma or college diploma (DEC).
  • Ability to interpret complex technical codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Availability to travel to the United States for approximately six months for specialized training.
  • Flexibility to work in a laboratory or workshop environment.

Preferred Qualifications:-

  • NAS-410 Level II or Level III certification, or CGSB/ASNT certification.
  • Experience with aerospace components and composite materials.
  • Additional NDT certifications in PT, MT, or RT.

Requirements:-

  • Candidates must have the required UT certification or meet the stated experience criteria for consideration for the training pathway.
  • Candidates selected for the specialized training opportunity must be available to travel to the United States for approximately six months.
  • Candidates must be able to work in a laboratory or workshop environment.
  • Candidates are expected to comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
