Tube Inspection

Position Summary:

Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Tube Testing Technician Level II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing vessels and heat exchangers, with a particular focus on tube inspection using Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Remote Field Eddy Current Testing (RFECT), and Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS) techniques. This role requires a strong technical background in non-destructive examination (NDE) and the ability to work in offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tube inspections on vessels and heat exchangers using ECT, RFECT, and IRIS methods.
• Ensure that all inspections are conducted in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Analyze and interpret test results, documenting findings in detailed reports.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of inspection tasks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working offshore.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in non-destructive examination (NDE) applications.
• Valid NDE ET Level II certification as per ASNT or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
• Good health and physical fitness, with the ability to work in offshore environments.
• Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

• This position requires the ability to work offshore in the oil and gas sector in Southern Thailand.
• The role may involve extended periods away from home, depending on project requirements.
