Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and qualified NDT/NDE Technician to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services at various client sites and locations. The technician will utilize certified inspection methods to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, data accuracy, and client satisfaction. The role requires professionalism in the field, adherence to industry codes and standards, and the ability to work in demanding industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nondestructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Accurately interpret, evaluate, and document test results using appropriate forms, digital systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding job scope, site access, and inspection results.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports, timesheets, and safety documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety practices where applicable, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading.
  • Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety requirements.
  • Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalent certifications.
  • API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, or other advanced certifications.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP certification, or State Industrial Radiographer Card (for RT personnel where applicable).
  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems and NDT data software.
  • Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC card, OSHA 10/30 certifications, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
  • Level II NAS410 certification preferred in RT, MT, PT, and UT.

Requirements:

Education and Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting one or more TEAM Level II qualifications/certifications in accordance with TEAM’s written practice and certification requirements.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate inspection results effectively to peers, clients, and supervisors.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to access elevated platforms using ladders and stairwells.
  • Sufficient hearing, speech, vision, and observation capabilities to perform inspection duties effectively.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating equipment and performing routine office tasks.
  • Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and communicate effectively in field and office environments.

Work Conditions

  • Based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Indoor and outdoor work in plant and industrial environments.
  • Frequent interaction with supervisors, crew members, and client personnel.
  • Exposure to production machinery and high-noise environments.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May work at multiple job sites in a single day and be exposed to varying climate conditions.
  • May require periodic out-of-town travel.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
