Senior Technical Sales Engineer

Position Summary:

The role involves technically understanding customer requirements and providing suitable Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) product solutions that add value through improved performance and process efficiency. The position focuses on driving sales, supporting customers with product demonstrations and technical support, managing dealer and distributor networks, and contributing to business growth through market analysis, application engineering, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Technically understand customer requirements and provide NDT product solutions that enhance performance and improve process efficiency.
• Achieve sales and collection targets within the assigned territory.
• Conduct product demonstrations across multiple industry verticals including Automotive, Aviation, General Engineering, Forging, Casting & Foundries, and Heavy Fabrication to support business generation.
• Manage Dealer/Distributor Sales Representatives and ensure optimal product performance in customer processes.
• Plan and strategize sales activities including forecasting, pricing, distribution, key account management, and overall profitability.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis and apply insights to increase sales.
• Prepare RFQ estimations and sales proposals.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer lists, mailing lists, and other sensitive company information.
• Interact with customers, principals, and dealers for pre- and post-project activities.
• Handle all technical support activities.
• Develop proof of performance documents, case studies, trial reports, and related technical collateral.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and identify new value-added opportunities through application engineering.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
