Senior NDE Technician

Position Summary

T.D. Williamson is currently seeking a Senior NDE Technician to support its Pipeline Services (PS) division by conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), GPS surveys, and other field activities to assess pipeline conditions and locate defects. This role involves minimal supervision and requires extensive travel to project sites across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NDT using UT, MT, PT, and Phased Array (PA) methods to identify pipeline defects.
• Operate GPS equipment and conduct field surveys to support pipeline integrity services.
• Support the maintenance of NDT, GPS, pipeline cleaning, and tracking tools.
• Complete daily service reports and maintain accurate NDT experience logs.
• Submit weekly expense and time-sheet reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain DOT Operator Qualification requirements and complete mandatory Pure Safety training quarterly.

Experience and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASNT Level II certification in UT, MT, and PT required.
• Phased Array (PA) experience is a strong plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be willing to travel 65%–80% within the U.S.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects and operating hand tools.
• Proficient with PC-based systems and electronic testing equipment.
• Basic understanding of pipeline alignment sheets and GPS coordinate systems.
