Senior Engineer, QA/QC

Position Summary:

• Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer – QA/QC to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across oil and gas projects. The role involves managing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), reviewing method statements, auditing contractors, handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements and applicable international standards, including ASME, API, and ISO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Review method statements and related quality documentation.
• Conduct contractor audits to assess compliance with applicable quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including tracking and follow-up to support resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes, project requirements, and relevant international standards, including ASME, API, and ISO.
• Support quality management activities across onshore or offshore oil and gas EPC/PMC projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• More than 17 years of experience in quality management within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience working on onshore or offshore Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
• Mandatory experience with ADNOC projects or requirements.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications may include:

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• CSWIP.
• BGAS.
• NACE.
• AWS.
• API.
• Candidates should possess relevant certifications aligned with the requirements of the role.
