Position Summary:

The Sales Manager is a front-line sales role reporting directly to the Global Sales Director and is responsible for developing sales opportunities with new and existing customers for TSC Subsea’s advanced subsea inspection solutions. The role focuses on achieving regional revenue targets by expanding market presence, building client relationships, and promoting subsea inspection technologies. The position requires collaboration with Technical Leads, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, and other functional managers, as well as coordination with the global sales organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and business opportunities to meet planned regional sales goals.
  • Contribute to marketing activities and work with management to grow subsea inspection solutions in the region.
  • Collaborate with management to establish a strong market position for advanced subsea inspection technologies.
  • Identify and act on new opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new customers.
  • Report sales activities in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Contribute to and develop local sales plans to support growth of the subsea inspection market.
  • Drive proposal development and bid management activities.
  • Support the development of new technical applications related to advanced subsea inspection technologies.
  • Develop technical understanding of ART, ACFM, AUT, and PEC inspection technologies and associated robotic deployment systems.
  • Maintain existing client relationships and increase sales volumes through ongoing engagement.
  • Identify and monitor competitors and promote the company’s value proposition in the marketplace.
  • Support trade shows, client meetings, lunch-and-learn sessions, and management visits.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and promote TSC Subsea solutions within the region.
  • Maintain high levels of integrity in accordance with company guidelines and directives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical sales, ideally within subsea, NDT, offshore, or industrial inspection industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business in a technical or engineering-driven environment.
  • Understanding of subsea operations, inspection technologies, or related offshore services, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience in proposal development, commercial negotiations, and bid management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for both technical and executive-level audiences.

Requirements:

  • Ability to collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver client solutions.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to understand complex inspection technologies including ART, ACFM, AUT, and PEC and communicate their value to clients.
  • Strong negotiation and sales cycle management capabilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking to align sales activities with regional and corporate growth strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Awareness of market competition and ability to position company offerings effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
