Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment.
- Conduct inspections using approved NDT methods to detect discontinuities and ensure quality compliance.
- Apply and interpret testing criteria per applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Analyze radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and other indicators.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of test results.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used safely.
- Perform specialized inspections and support project-specific testing as required.
- Provide guidance or training to junior personnel as assigned.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Valid NDT Level II certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
- Proven technical background in NDT methods, procedures, and radiographic interpretation.
- Experience with setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Preferred:
- Additional Level II certifications in other NDT disciplines (UT, MT, PT).
- Prior experience in industrial inspection environments such as refineries, pipelines, or power generation.
