RT/CR/DR/NDE technician

Position Summary:

• Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. is seeking an experienced RT/CR/DR/NDE Technician for a full-time guaranteed call-out position based in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves performing Radiographic Testing (RT), Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR) inspections in accordance with established NDT procedures, radiation safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment, preparing components for inspection, capturing and processing images, interpreting results, and maintaining accurate inspection documentation. The technician will also collaborate with Level II and Level III inspectors to ensure inspection quality and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT), Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR) inspections in accordance with approved procedures.
• Set up and operate radiographic equipment and prepare components for examination.
• Capture and process radiographic images to identify discontinuities and defects.
• Interpret inspection results and document findings in detailed reports.
• Maintain radiographic equipment and calibration records.
• Collaborate with Level II and Level III inspectors to ensure inspection quality and compliance with applicable standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices and regulatory requirements when handling radiographic equipment and sources.
• Participate in job briefings and follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with customer specifications and applicable industry requirements.
• Support on-site inspection assignments, including potential out-of-town and out-of-state travel.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or a degree in Radiologic Technology, NDT, or a related field preferred.

Technical Knowledge and Certifications:

• Knowledge of radiologic technology and radiology, with experience applying these principles in industrial or NDE environments.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, regulatory requirements, and the safe handling of radiographic equipment and sources.
• Relevant NDT certifications, such as ASNT Level I or Level II in Radiographic Testing (RT), are highly beneficial.
• Experience working with Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, codes, and specifications.
