Position Summary:
The Rope Access Technician will support field operations by executing advanced robotic inspections across industrial sites in North America. This role combines traditional rope access techniques with cutting-edge robotic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) systems. The technician will work in dynamic field environments, contributing to safer, more efficient, and data-driven inspection processes while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Field Operations
- Execute robotic inspections using rope access, scaffolding, lifts, and other access methods
- Support mobilization, setup, and execution of field projects
Technology Operation
- Operate and assist with advanced robotic NDT systems (including CUI, PEC, RTR, etc.)
- Ensure high-quality data collection and optimal system performance
Teamwork & Client Interaction
- Collaborate closely with field teams and project leads
- Interface professionally with customers at job sites
Safety
- Follow and enforce strict safety protocols
- Contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture across all operations
Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately document inspection data and field observations
- Support continuous improvement of workflows and processes
Travel
- Travel to project sites across North America as required
- Maintain flexibility for varying project durations and schedules
Qualifications:
Required
- SPRAT or IRATA Rope Access Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Commitment to safety and quality work
Preferred
- Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), especially PEC, RT/RTR, and UT
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial, energy, or inspection environments
- ASNT Level II certifications (UT, RT, VT, MFL, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills
- Physical ability to work in demanding environments (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, confined spaces)
- Leadership potential and ability to mentor junior technicians
Requirements:

- Willingness to undergo a drug test
