Rope Access NDT Technician

Position Summary:

CAN Group, a leading provider of engineering, integrity, inspection, and maintenance solutions for the energy industry worldwide, is seeking experienced Rope Access NDT Technicians for a 3/3 rotation based on a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit in the North Sea. The position will mobilise from Aberdeen on 01.08.24 and continue until the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using rope access techniques in accordance with industry standards.
• Utilize Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy Current Inspection (ECI) methods to assess the integrity of components on the FPSO.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all inspection activities.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and report findings to supervisors and clients.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of inspection tasks.
• Adhere to CAN Group’s safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid IRATA Rope Access certification.
• PCN Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy Current Inspection (ECI).
• Offshore Survival certification.
• Valid Offshore Medical certification.
• Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) certification.
• Demonstrated relevant industry experience in NDT and rope access inspections.
