Rope Access NDT Level Plus I

Position Summary

Acuren is seeking Rope Access NDT Level 1+ Technicians to join its team in the Fort McMurray area. The position involves conducting assigned non-destructive testing (NDT) methods while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and client standards. Technicians must be local to Fort McMurray, AB, or willing to relocate, and should possess or be willing to obtain an IRATA Level 1 certification.

Position Information

• Start Date: July 2025
• Schedule: Various 30/31 shifts (e.g., 5 on 4 off)
• Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (local residency or relocation required)
• Certification: IRATA Level 1 (required or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods.
• Apply written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members.
• Follow all standards and procedures while ensuring result accuracy and alignment with quality, safety, and project timelines.
• Maintain professional and positive working relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Valid CGSB Level 1+ Certification.
• IRATA Level 1 ticket (or willingness to obtain).
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to Fort McMurray, AB.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• High level of safety and quality awareness.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a high technical and performance standard.
• Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships.
