Position Summary:

CAN Group is currently recruiting for the position of Rope Access Multiskilled NDT Technician based in Blackpool, England, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing core 2/2 rotations, mobilising from Blackpool, starting in February 2024. This position requires an experienced individual with a diverse skill set in rope access and non-destructive testing techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rope access activities in various environments and conditions.
  • Conduct NDT inspections using multiple techniques, including Radiographic Testing (RAD), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
  • Execute inspections with precision and attention to detail to ensure accurate results.
  • Mobilise and demobilise efficiently, adhering to project schedules and timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all activities, emphasising a commitment to safety.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure it meets safety and operational standards.
  • Generate inspection reports detailing findings, recommendations, and necessary actions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in rope access and NDT technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated and relevant industry experience in rope access and NDT.
  • IRATA Rope Access certification.
  • PCN Level 2 certification in Radiographic Testing (RAD), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
  • Valid Offshore Survival, Medical, CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), and MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) certifications.
  • Flexibility to adhere to a core 2/2 rotation schedule, with mobilisation from Blackpool starting in February 2024.
  • Familiarity with the Blackpool region and its associated work environments is advantageous.
