Robotic NDT Field Technician

Position Summary

ARIX Technologies is actively seeking a Robotic NDT Field Technician to support the execution of innovative robotic inspection solutions in the field. This individual will be responsible for performing robotic-based non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections across a variety of industrial environments, acting as a direct link between customers and ARIX's technology teams. The ideal candidate brings strong NDT experience, a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies, and the ability to work autonomously in dynamic, physically demanding environments. This role requires periodic travel and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge inspection systems that go beyond conventional NDT methods.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced robotic inspection systems across industrial field locations
• Perform robotic NDT inspections using varied installation methods (ropes, lifts, scaffolds)
• Collect, evaluate, and accurately document inspection results
• Build and maintain strong, professional customer relationships
• Identify and resolve issues independently in the field
• Provide field insights to inform product development and innovation
• Travel to support field operations as needed by customer demands and business growth

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and adaptability
• Dependable, punctual, and collaborative team member
• Strong commitment to safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas or related industries
• ASNT Level II certification in methods such as UT, RT, VT, EMI/MFL
• Experience with Pulsed Eddy Current or Radiography
• Rope access or rigging experience a plus
• Technical aptitude and willingness to adopt new inspection technologies
• Proven ability to lead or mentor in field operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
