Position Summary:
The Risk-Based Management Engineer / Project Manager supports industrial clients in managing the integrity of facilities and equipment. The role focuses on assessing compliance over time, anticipating degradation, and delivering risk-based inspection (RBI) analyses. The position operates within the Expertise and Integrity Management team and requires working across multiple projects while providing technical guidance and clear communication to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop inspection plans and perform Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) analyses
- Analyze pipeline inspection data using relevant codes and standards
- Provide technical expertise and opinions on analyses conducted by other organizations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization
- Deliver high-quality technical reports and communicate findings clearly to clients
- Assist clients in monitoring equipment integrity and anticipating degradation
- Adapt to varying project topics and industrial challenges
- Travel within France (approximately 4–5 days per month)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3 minimum) in Mechanics, Materials Science, Degradation & Corrosion, or related field
- Entry-level or experienced background in materials, corrosion, or degradation analysis
- Strong knowledge of materials mechanics (stress, strain, elasticity, plasticity)
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts
- Experience with pressure equipment or storage tanks (preferred)
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Valid Class B driver’s license
