As an RT Technician at MISTRAS, you will execute Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations and assess the outcomes of NDT tests, adhering to Mistras Services' certified written practices for routine NDT methods. Your primary responsibility will involve inspecting piping, tanks, and vessels utilizing the Radiography method.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Conduct inspections of piping, tanks, and vessels within a fabrication shop (Lay Down Yard) using Radiography, subsequently documenting findings.
- Train RT assistants, oversee film processing, and assess film grades following customer-directed procedures.
- Set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret and assess results by applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Display an in-depth familiarity with the extent and limitations of the qualified methods, actively contributing to on-the-job training and guiding trainees and NDT level I personnel.
- Organize and convey the results of NDT tests, meticulously reporting data.
- Generate and organize NDT data, and subsequently communicate findings. Analyze data to determine disposition.
- Fulfill additional assigned duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in generating technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as necessary and appropriate.
- A minimum of 12 months of prior NDT experience.
- Level II RT/MT/PT (UTSW a plus)
Essential Physical Functions:
- Frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
