Position Summary:
The QAQC Inspector will oversee quality control processes related to mechanical systems and installations. The role demands strong technical proficiency in non-destructive testing, specifically in PT and UT methods, to detect flaws and ensure equipment integrity. The candidate must have at least five years of QAQC experience in the mechanical field and possess an active BOSH certificate, demonstrating a solid grasp of mechanical inspection principles and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections on mechanical equipment, systems, and fabrication installations.
- Execute NDT techniques (PT and UT) to detect defects and verify component quality.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, codes, and quality standards to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
- Train and guide on-site personnel regarding mechanical QAQC procedures and standards.
- Ensure all inspection activities conform to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of QAQC experience in the mechanical industry.
- Active BOSH (Boiler Operation Safety Handbook) certificate.
- NDT Level II certifications in PT and UT.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, standards (e.g., ASME, ISO), and inspection tools.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
