We are looking for a/an:

Project Engineer for Surface Technology (m/w/d)

Based in: Bremen

Full-time job (40 hours per week)

Fixed-term contract for 12 month

Your mission

• Taking over independent (partial) projects in cooperation with the respective specialist departments.
• Creating and reviewing test specifications/requirements for special processes, in particular surface protection, corrosion and painting systems.
• Evaluation of results and incorporation into process instructions, process standards, product specifications, test specifications and test instructions as well as test programs and technical reports.
• Coordination of test laboratories.
• Assist and execute test programs including hands-on tasks in the laboratory.

Your skills

• Completed Master’s degree or diploma in surface technology, chemistry, or material sciences or equivalent.
• Work experience in areas such as surface technology, painting, chemistry, material science, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.
• Knowledge of test methods in the field of surface technology and/or other disciplines of material sciences.
• Safe handling of research and laboratory equipment as well as their processes in compliance with known and relevant legal regulations.
• Experience in metallographic, microscopy / scanning electron microscopy are advantageous
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team, resilience, flexibility
