European Plant Inspector - Offshore (Oil/Gas & Wind)
Location: North Sea, Denmark
Bilfinger is seeking highly skilled and experienced European Plant Inspectors to join our team and support our offshore operations in the North Sea. As a Plant Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our oil/gas and wind installations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of offshore plants, including oil/gas and wind installations, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform inspections on various equipment and systems, including structural components, pipelines, machinery, and electrical systems.
- Identify and report any defects, damages, or potential risks to the appropriate personnel and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, including reports, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes related to plant inspection.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- BOSIET/FOET incl. HUET & CA-EBS (Oil & Gas Industry): Certification in Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (including Helicopter Underwater Escape Training and Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System) specifically for the oil and gas industry.
- GWO Package (Wind Industry): Certification in the Global Wind Organisation package, covering safety training for working in the wind industry.
- IRATA Rope Access Level I / II / III: Certification in Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) levels I, II, or III, demonstrating competence in rope access techniques.
- Offshore Medical: Valid medical certification specific to offshore work.
Desirable:
- ISO9712 VT, MT, PT, UT, ET or RT minimum level II: Certification in one or more non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), or Radiographic Testing (RT), at minimum level II according to ISO9712 standards.
- ISO9712 PAUT & TOFD minimum level II: Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques at minimum level II according to ISO9712 standards.
- API 510 or API 570: Certification in API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector) or API 570 (Piping Inspector), demonstrating knowledge of inspection and assessment of pressure vessels or piping systems, respectively.
- Plant Inspector Certification: Additional certification specific to plant inspection, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in assessing the integrity and safety of industrial plants.
