Position Summary:
The Nuclear Pressure Equipment Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspection and control activities related to the manufacturing of fabricated and welded mechanical and pressure equipment within the nuclear sector. Based in Limonest, the role supports clients in ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance while contributing to the development of Apave’s expertise in local communities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regulatory inspection missions including visual examinations, testing, and expert assessments at operator sites and manufacturers.
- Monitor the manufacturing of conventional and nuclear pressure equipment such as boilers, gas and steam vessels, and metal components.
- Complete all required documentation related to regulatory inspections.
- Prepare detailed technical reports highlighting identified risks and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Apply relevant codes and standards including RCC-M, EN 13445, EN 13480, PED 2014/68/EU, and the ESPN decree of 30/12/2015.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in Metal Fabrication (e.g., vocational baccalaureate, BTS ROC, CRCI), Maintenance, or a university diploma in Mechanics.
- Initial experience in new construction, operations, or equipment maintenance is preferred.

- Nuclear safety certifications such as HN1, HN2, and CSQ are considered an advantage.
