NDT UT Inspector

Position Summary:

The NDT UT Inspector is responsible for performing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. The role involves inspecting welds, plates, and structural components, preparing inspection documentation, and ensuring all equipment and procedures meet client and company quality requirements. This position is offered on a freelance or contractual basis to support a long-term project in Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, calibration records, and related documentation.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Adhere to company and client safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate inspection activities with project teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives.
• Support mock-up test preparation and execution as required by project needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspection.
• Valid ASNT / ISNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and inspection methodologies.
• Willingness to work on a freelance or contractual basis at project sites across Tamil Nadu.
• Must successfully complete the client’s mock-up test before deployment.
• Effective communication, documentation, and reporting skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: ₹1000 per manday (based on site working days and project conditions).
