Job description

Australia is opening its doors to suitably qualified NDT technicians. I am looking for candidates from around the world. However, to satisfy my client's visa requirements, you must hold a Batchelor's degree.

Opportunities exist within various regions of Australia. Methods vary, dependent upon location (see 'location and requirements' below).

Work to be carried out in large scale industrial, mining or oil & gas sites (onshore).

You will also have good client relationship building skills and the ability to work autonomously.

They are a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification services. The group has in excess of 78,000 employees in 1,400 sites located in 140 countries. In the Pacific Zone, their Asset Integrity and Reliability Services business provides these services to clients throughout the lifecycle of their asset, whether it be for large-scale resource projects or to established industrial facilities.

International visa requirements

You must hold a BEng (this is to satisfy the requirements for a 4-year visa, with the opportunity of applying for full permanent residency thereafter).

1. Whyalla, Whyalla & Eyre Peninsula, Adelaide, SA

Requirements

• Methods: UT & RT
• Prepared to live locally within the region (Whyalla)
• Experience working within Steel Works or Oil & Gas is desirable
• Work pattern
• Mon - Fri + overtime

2. Melbourne VIC

• Requirements
• Methods: UT & RT
• IRATA Rope Access & Phased Array experience are highly desirable.
• Work pattern
• Mon - Fri + overtime

3. Mackay & Blackwater, QLD

• Requirements
• Methods: MT, PT & UT
• Additional methods would be advantageous
• IRATA Rope Access & Phased Array experience are highly desirable.
• Work pattern
• Residential. 4 on 3 off, or 7 on 7 off

4. Singleton, Hunter Valley, NSW

• Requirements
• Methods: MT, PT & UT
• Additional methods would be advantageous
• IRATA Rope Access & Phased Array experience are highly desirable.
• Work pattern
• Mon - Fri + overtime

5. Mudgee, NSW

• Requirements

• Underground experience
