NDT Technician - Multi Disciplined II

Position Summary:

Oceaneering is seeking a Multi-Disciplined Level II NDT Technician to join its Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS) team based in Rosyth, Scotland. The role involves carrying out non-destructive evaluations across structural assemblies, pipework, and critical assets to safeguard structural integrity, quality, and operational safety.

Responsibilities:

• Execute NDT inspections using multiple methods, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
• Evaluate and interpret inspection data, producing comprehensive reports with actionable findings and recommendations.
• Verify that inspection processes conform to relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain equipment accuracy and performance through routine calibration, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance.
• Partner with engineering teams and client representatives to analyze defect findings and implement corrective actions.
• Offer technical mentoring and support to junior technicians.
• Maintain comprehensive job records, safety logs, and quality assurance paperwork.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of direct NDT inspection experience within an industrial or offshore environment.
• Level II certification in multiple NDT methods according to ISO 9712 (or equivalent) covering UT, MPI, and DPI.
• Technical proficiency with NDT software tools for data evaluation and reporting.
• Valid driver's license with flexibility to travel for project requirements.
