NDT Technician Level II

Position Summary:

TechCorr USA Management LLC is currently seeking NDT Technicians for positions located in California. This candidate will support TechCorr’s expansive growth in the United States and uphold our commitment to providing the highest quality services to our customers. Ideal candidates must possess an API 653 certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Knowledge of non-destructive testing and inspections related to welded, bolted, and poly above-ground storage tanks is preferred. Familiarity with design and inspection criteria according to API, AWWA, and UL/SP001 standards is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal and external inspections to various ABST standards.
• Compile and organize inspection data for reporting to owner/operators.
• Oversee contract personnel on behalf of owner/operators to ensure compliance with repair recommendations and scopes of work.
• Make necessary notifications to appointed personnel in the event of an incident or concern.
• Aid in the evaluation and documentation of inspection results.
• Actively participate in TechCorr USA MGMT LLC and Client safety programs.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current API 653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspector Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Proficient in DraftSight CAD Software and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and technical writing abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Adaptable to changing schedules and flexible work hours with short notice.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel.

• Experience with mechanical inspections and non-destructive testing methods.
• Knowledge of inspection standards and criteria (API, AWWA, UL/SP001).

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

• Moving, carrying, lifting objects in excess of 50 lbs.
• Climbing and working from ladders, stairs, and scaffolding in excess of 100 ft.
• Working extended hours and standing for extended periods.
• Working in indoor and outdoor environments under extreme heat and cold conditions.
• Working near industrial hazards.
• Travel may be required.
