RR Rope Access Multi-NDT Radiographer

Position Summary:-

Bilfinger UK is seeking motivated and skilled NDT Technicians to join its growing inspection team. The role involves performing nondestructive testing inspections across both offshore and onshore environments using techniques including Radiography (RAD), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), Eddy Current (EC), and other applicable methods.

Due to the nature of access required for certain inspection scopes, an IRATA Level 1 or higher Rope Access certification is required. The role involves performing conventional NDT inspections, evaluating test results, preparing inspection reports, maintaining safety and quality standards, and travelling to onshore, offshore, and international locations as required.

Responsibilities:-

• Perform conventional NDT inspections using applicable testing techniques.
• Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
• Carry out safe and effective rope access operations in accordance with the required certification level.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Comply with site-specific safety and quality standards.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior or developing technicians, where applicable.
• Travel to onshore, offshore, and international locations as required.
• Perform NDT activities using techniques including RAD, UT, MPI, DPI, EC, and other applicable methods.

Qualifications:-

• Essential Qualifications and Experience
• IRATA qualification at Level 1, 2, or 3.
• PCN/CSWIP or equivalent Level 2 Radiography certification.
• PCN/CSWIP or equivalent Advanced Radiation Safety (ARS/RPS) certification.
• Experience with Computed Radiography.
• Experience with Digital Radiography.
• Minimum PCN/CSWIP Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing, including 3.1 and 3.2.
• Experience and qualification in In-Service Inspection.
• Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET/FOET).
• UKOOA Medical.
• MIST certification.
• EBS certification.

Desirable Qualifications:-

• PCN/CSWIP Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) certification.
• PCN/CSWIP Level 2 Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) certification.
• PCN/CSWIP Level 2 Eddy Current (EC) certification.
