Level I Technician

Position Summary:

The Level I NDT Technician supports inspection activities by assisting Level II Technicians in executing nondestructive testing tasks. The role involves preparing work areas, performing basic inspections under supervision, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Level II Technicians in work execution and daily assigned tasks.
• Prepare, set up, and complete required documentation in accordance with company and client requirements under supervision.
• Establish work area boundaries and ensure proper surveillance to prevent unauthorized access.
• Replenish and organize supplies required for inspection activities.
• Perform basic NDT inspections within the scope of Level I certification under direct guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and company vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Level I certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Basic understanding of NDT inspection processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months of experience in the NDT industry.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must meet company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for insurance coverage.
