NDT Technician

Position Summary:

The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician – UT1 will be trained and developed as part of Testia’s expansion in aeronautical manufacturing inspection activities. The role includes a structured theoretical and practical training program (POEI) aimed at achieving Level 1 Ultrasonic Testing (UT1) certification (COFREND/FrANDTB). Post-certification, the candidate will contribute to inspection activities, primarily on composite materials used in advanced helicopter structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasonic inspections in accordance with customer specifications.
• Validate technical reports and control qualification documents.
• Ensure the quality and conformity of aircraft components to meet flight safety requirements.
• Collaborate with a team of NDT technicians and experts on inspection activities.
• Ensure satisfaction of internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Materials Science
• Physical Measurements
• Mechanics
• Aeronautical Maintenance
• Electrotechnics

Requirements:

• Initial professional experience in NDT (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge in areas such as composites, aircraft structures, quality control, or dimensional analysis is an advantage.
• Good computer skills.
• Intermediate written English proficiency for understanding client specifications.
• Strong personal attributes including dynamism, enthusiasm, autonomy, rigor, versatility, proactivity, and excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to Toulouse for training and certification.
