Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

Position Summary:

Testia, a subsidiary of Airbus and a global leader in aerostructure integrity and non-destructive testing (NDT), is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled NDT Technician to join its expanding team. This position focuses on performing Eddy Current (Level 2) and Ultrasonic (Level 1) inspections primarily within the aeronautical manufacturing sector. Based at the Bouguenais agency, the technician will operate on the Airbus site in St Nazaire/Montoir or at customer sites, contributing to the quality and safety of aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft assembly lines at customer sites.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting results and acceptance decisions in accordance with specified criteria.
• Participate in customer and certification audits, supporting the maintenance of approvals and certifications.
• Ensure the highest level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Guarantee the quality and safety of aircraft parts essential to flight safety.
• Assist in training new inspectors on Eddy Current and Ultrasonic inspection methods, contributing to team skill development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Level 2 NDT Certification in Eddy Currents (EN4179 / FrANDTB-COSAC, aeronautics sector).
• Level 1 NDT Certification in Ultrasonics.
• Familiarity with composites, aircraft structures, quality control, or dimensional control is a plus.
• Solid command of IT tools.
• Intermediate English (written), sufficient for working with customer specifications.
