NDT Supervisor

Position Summary

Sonomatic is expanding its operations into Southampton, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing growth. To support this expansion, the company is seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to collaborate with clients and help establish the foundation for a new long-term contract in the region.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing Sonomatic’s presence in the south of England, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality inspection services and supporting a growing client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise NDT operations across various client sites.
• Liaise closely with clients to ensure project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.
• Support the development, mentoring, and competency growth of inspection teams.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to establishing a robust operational base for Sonomatic’s Southampton expansion.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an NDT Supervisor or Senior Technician.
• Strong technical knowledge of inspection techniques, including UT, MPI, DPI, Radiography, and Eddy Current.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Valid NDT certifications (PCN, ASNT, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated proactive, safety-focused, and team-oriented approach to work.
