NDT Specialist

Position Summary:

• Applus+ is seeking a Specialist in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to perform inspections using various testing methods, evaluate examination results, prepare technical reports, and advise customers on suitable inspection solutions. The role involves regular travel to different inspection sites and requires compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• This is a full-time position open across Germany, with the northern region of Germany being one of the key areas of deployment and/or locations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-destructive testing using methods such as:
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Radiographic Testing (RT)
• Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Evaluate and analyze inspection results.
• Prepare inspection reports and related technical documentation.
• Assess technical issues effectively and provide appropriate solutions.
• Advise customers on suitable testing and inspection solutions.
• Travel regularly to different inspection locations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• Work independently and precisely while maintaining a structured approach.
• Maintain a professional presence when working with customers.

Qualifications:

• Practical experience in non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, or penetrant testing.
• Knowledge of modern inspection methods and testing equipment.
• NDT certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 or comparable qualifications in at least one testing discipline.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to analyze inspection results and prepare technical reports.
• Ability to evaluate technical problems effectively.
• Structured, independent, and precise working approach.
• Professional conduct when interacting with customers.
• Good German and English language skills.
