Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspection services at various client sites and field locations. The role requires professionalism, technical expertise in one or more NDT methods, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, client satisfaction, and accurate data reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document test results using reporting forms, digital systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and associated tools safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding project scope, site access, and inspection results.
  • Maintain detailed records including inspection reports, timesheets, and safety documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety practices where applicable, including dosimetry usage and area barricading.
  • Follow TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and adherence to industry quality standards.
  • Perform assigned duties in both indoor and outdoor plant or industrial environments.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certifications in one or more NDT methods such as RT, MT, PT, UT, or VT.
  • Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies preferred.
  • API 510/570/653, AWS CWI, AMPP, or other advanced certifications preferred.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP, or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred for RT-related work.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software preferred.
  • Prior experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a safety-first mindset.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background checks.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting TEAM Level II qualifications and certifications.
  • Ability to travel, work extended hours, weekends, and alternative schedules when required.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maneuver in refinery, plant, and industrial environments, including climbing ladders and stairwells.
  • Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and communicate effectively in field environments.
